Hope you have all had a lovely September so far!
I’ve missed updating y’all, and I apologize for the delay! A lot has happened, so here we go.
As you might have heard, my debut EP, “Burns You Up,” is available for digital pre-order right now! It will officially release on October 12th. I’m so excited that the time is finally here. It’s incredible to see this project that I’ve talked about and dreamed about for so long actually become reality. It’s also such a privilege to finally share it with y’all.
You also might have heard that I’m throwing a huge EP release show! It’s going to be at the WorkPlay Theatre in Downtown Birmingham on October 12th (click here for details). The show is a benefit for Girls Rock Bham, and my friends Rachael Roberts and Chelsey Whild will be playing the show with me. It’s all ages, and children ten and under get in free! Doors will open at 6:00 that night, and the show will start at 7:00. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Click here to grab yours early! I’ve never been so excited for something in my life, and we have tons of fun surprises planned. It would thrill me to see you there, and you won’t regret coming! It’s going to be a really special night. I can’t wait to play these songs for you live, with my band, and celebrate everything that’s happened over the past year. None of this would be possible without you. I will always treasure how y’all have supported me from the beginning!
One last thing - I want to tell you about what I have planned for release week! New things could be added between now and then, but the current schedule is as follows:
Thursday, October 4th at 8:00 pm - In-studio on Oh Brother Radio (Birmingham Mountain Radio, 107.3 FM) - Rachael and Chelsey will be joining me for this one, too, so it’ll be special!
Thursday, October 11th at 9:00 AM - On-air interview and performance on Talk of Alabama (ABC 33/40)
I’ll also have some digital and print interviews coming out during the first two weeks of October! Keep an eye out for those. I’ll announce them once they’re published. I owe a big thank you to everyone who’s kind enough to chat with me for an interview or have me on their show. It means the world to me, and I’m so grateful for the help in promoting this album and release show.
I think that’s about it for now! I have a few other shows happening between the album release and the end of the year. I’ll announce those soon, so stay tuned! Thanks for everything.
